Daughter of immigrants feels a personal stake in this election
Tamara Downsbrough, a 67-year-old Penn State alumna, was an energetic volunteer today as she organized waiting voters outside the Patton Township Building.
She feels a personal stake in this election because her parents immigrated to the U.S. from France after surviving incarceration in a German prison camp.
She displays a cheery demeanor as she directs people in line, but says she voted for Hilary Clinton and calls Donald Trump a “Hilter.”
