Students’ Perspective on What Makes a Good President

With the presidential election approaching, community members were asked what qualities they would like to see in a president. There were a variety of answers but one major theme that continued to be mention was their desire for a president who is for the people.

Javon is a Penn State senior pursuing a Baccalaureate degree in Photojournalism and a minor in Entrepreneurship. He has interned with College Magazine, an online magazine that provides a guide to college life. Throughout his time with College Magazine, Javon was a Staff Writer. He produced weekly articles that touched on multiple topics that are important to college students today. Javon participated in Penn State’s Association of Journalists for Diversity. During his time with PSAJD, Javon published an article in their quarterly newsletter called, Cultural Expressions.
