What is Fake News?
During a bright sunny day in front of the HUB lawn, Penn State students have been posed the question "What is fake news?". Many collected the knowledge they have learned about the term within the past few months especially with the most recent presidential election. Here's what they had to say.

Mahdiyyah is Penn State senior majoring in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in English. Her intent is to work within the multimedia field specifically in Social Media field as growing up in her generation it was something that is essential. Mahdiyyah is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSSA) in the Communications and Strategy committee. After being enrolled in 400 level communications classes Mahdiyyah has extensive knowledge on video shooting, editing, and reporting news. Upon graduating Mahdiyyah plans to find a job that opens here experiences to the multimedia world and pursue her passion for journalism and media in all aspects.

Mahdiyyah Wilson is a Penn State Senior majoring in Broadcast Journalism and minoring in English. She has always been an exceptional student who has showed her interest in media in many ways. Although taking up a broadcast major, Mahdiyyah has always had a keene eye for Social Media Management which is her career focus. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America in the Strategic Thinking and Digital Committee. Post graduation, Mahdiyyah plans on getting her experience in the social media in this generation and in the communications field by using her skills gained through out her four years at the university.
