Female voter proudly casts a ballot for the first time

posted November 8, 2016 in

Hannah Sarisohn, a political communications major, cast a vote for the first today at the Friends Meetinghouse on East Prospect Avenue in State College. She says she is that even though it’s only one vote, she is still a part of history.

“I grew up in a family that was involved in local Democratic politics and was raised with the ideals that most align with Hillary Clinton, so there was never any question to  not support her. People who don’t vote are selfishly giving up the right that makes them an American citizen," she says. "People around the world die for this right and people’s stubbornness will cause more harm in the end.”
