Daniel Correa majors in broadcast journalism and minors in English in the College of Communications at Penn State University.  He interned for the New York Giants as a sports beat writer over the summer of 2016. He is a former live sports production intern at WPSU-TV during Fall 2015 semester. He is a former sports production intern at State College’s ESPN Radio 1450AM (Spring 2015). He has two concurrent sports beat writing internships with The Centre County Gazette and Instant Sports Access, a national and digital sports writing internship that entails submitting weekly and autonomous sports releases/articles to the main site, He aspires to get into the field of play-by-play broadcasting for Major League Baseball, primarily for the YES Network and FOX 5 Sports. He has digital knowledge of software systems such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Hindenberg, QuickTime Player 7, Microsoft Excel/Word and Adobe Photoshop. He is involved with ComRadio. He has co-hosted a previous sports talk show, The Empire State Boys, breaking down and covering everything New York sports, while incorporating Penn State sports headlines and national sports news. He also co-hosted New York Sports Live, a sports talk show highlighting and covering exclusively New York Sports topics. He is Director of Decisions for PSSN, Penn State Sports Night, which is one of the several shows that air on PSNtv.

Mike D’Avella is a senior from West Chester, Pa., majoring in broadcast journalism with a minor in business. He is a sports director, producer, play-by-play voice, talk show personality and beat writer on the sports side of CommRadio. Mike is also a member of the John Curley Center for Sports Journalism. He has completed internships with the Philadelphia Phillies in the summers of 2014 and 2015, Advanced Media in the spring of 2016, the State College Spikes Minor League baseball production department in the summer of 2016 and Interscope Records in Santa Monica, California. He is also the drummer in a State College based Alternative Rock band called “The New Feel” who has performed at venues such as the Bryce Jordan Center. Mike plans to pursue a career in sports media or the entertainment industry in the hopes of becoming a producer or radio personality for a sports or music station. Michael Marcantonini is a senior broadcast journalism major and entrepreneurship minor from Blue Bell, PA. He is the Sports Director of The LION 90.7 FM student radio station, where he also works as a play-by-play broadcaster and sports talk radio host. Marcantonini previously interned at Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia, and was an MLB Featured Writer for for over two years. Lauren Holly is a senior at The Pennsylvania State University. She is a broadcast journalism major minoring in business. Lauren hopes to work as an news/sports reporter or anchor. Lauren has experience with past internships with both broadcasting and video production so she can fully understand what it takes to run a news room. Some of these internships include local radio stations, Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics: Video Production, and the B1G Ten Network. George is currently a student at The Pennsylvania State University studying Broadcast Journalism. He was accepted into the Curley Center for Sports Journalism, and is an active member in the College of Communications radio station.

During his time at Penn State, George covered college football, the NFL, college hockey, and college baseball.

In 2016, George provided play-by-play and color analysis for multiple Penn State sports, including football, mens hockey, and womens hockey for ComRadio.
George currently works for Fansided Inc. as an editor/expert for “NFL Mocks” covering the NFL, College Football, and NFL Draft. He holds the same title for Fansided’s Philadelphia Phillies site “That Ball’s Outta Here.” Throughout the 2016 football season, George published two weekly columns for

Ross Woomer is part of Penn State’s athletic production team and works various sporting events throughout the school year. Ross has experience directing and producing StudentU broadcasts for basketball, hockey, soccer, volleyball and wrestling He assists with video board shows at Beaver Stadium, the Bryce Jordan Center, Pegula Ice Arena and Rec hall.
