STATE COLLEGE, Pa – Former Penn State professor and coach Mike Morse has been an inspiration to many through his teachings.

He began his love for coaching at Penns Valley Area High School as a girls’ high school basketball coach. His career would take him all over coming back to Penn State serving as an assistant coach for the men’s basketball team.

Morse has gone through a lot of life changing experiences dealing with two different forms of cancer and witnessing his son’s near death after getting struck by lightning.
