Audio/Story posted April 20, 2012 in NFL Draft by Mike Esse.

Presbyterian College never had a player from their football program be invited to the NFL Combine before this year when star safety Justin Bethel was invited to Indy. Bethel not only was invited to the combine, he finished top five in the vertical jump and the broad jump. His name then began to fly up draft boards and people realized the dual threat late round option that Bethel could be. The Presbyterian Blue Hose safety had nine career-blocked kicks at Presbyterian including a blocked kick returned for a touchdown against California in 2011. The South Carolina native just wants to get on a team and show coaches that he belongs in the NFL.
