The Godfather of Pegula Ice Arena
Jay Horgas loves hockey.
If you have gone to a youth game at the Pegula Ice Arena, you have probably seen him in the zebra stripes.
Horgas has been officiating local hockey games for 40 years. He does not plan on stopping.
The reason he keeps blowing the whistle is because he wants to continue to grow hockey around State College.
He is better known as “The Godfather of Pegula Ice Arena”.
