Ashlee McGeehan

Senior / Broadcast Journalism

Erie, PA native, Ashlee, is a senior at Penn State University majoring in Broadcast Journalism, with minors in Business and Political Science. She is passionate about the communications industry, which has lead her to a variety of experience in the industry through organizations and internships. In the industry Ashlee has had internships in Broadcast Journalism and Marketing/PR. This past year she worked as a production assistant when she interned with NBC Universal affiliate, E! News, in New York City. Along with that, Ashlee has interned with her local television station, Jet24/Fox66, in Erie, PA. She has worked for Penn State’s ComRadio as an anchor, reporter and Special Events producer. She has done marketing for Penn State’s Olympic Sports and serviced as Zeta Tau Alpha’s Philanthropy Chair, planning and publicizing events. Currently, she is a member of the Centre County Report serving as an anchor, producer and reporter. In her free time Ashlee enjoys walking her Yorkie, Coco, and singing along to Adele. Ashlee is scheduled to graduate in May of 2013. ​
