Video Games that Would Make the Perfect Movie

Opinion/Story posted June 1, 2023 in

“Grand Theft Auto”

The very popular video game, “Grand Theft Auto” would make for an action-packed, funny and exciting movie that will leave the audience at the edge of their seats.

Commonly known as ‘GTA’, the video game would be a story of a string of car jacks, but would the purpose of criminal be? The plot could go in any direction and should be explored.

If the video game were to be adapted into a movie it could take inspiration from the “Fast and Furious” film and series and possibly Michael Bay and Chris Fedak’s movie “Ambulance”.

Playing ‘GTA’ is already so exciting for the player because of its constant unexpected turns, but as a movie, it would be the perfect thriller/action movie because of all the unanswered questions that would have to be solved. - Natalie Simone

“Subway Surfers”

It’s hard to think of a mobile phone game with the same cultural impact as Subway Surfers.

Between the changing cities, power-ups, iconic characters and vague story at the beginning of each game, Subway Surfers is the best and most logical pick for the next video game movie adaptation.

Where do the Subway Surfers live? Why are they always doing graffiti? How are they so fast? These are all questions we need the answers to.

A coming-of-age comedy-drama is waiting to be made with the universe created through the Subway Surfers games. The action of this film would be unparalleled and the diverse team of characters players can choose from offers up an enticing ensemble.

Subway Surfers offers an opportunity to create a silly animated movie or a live-action masterpiece. Either way, it’s an opportunity that’s begging to be taken advantage of. -Sophia D’Ovidio
