The finale of Marvel Studios’ “WandaVision” is finally here and showrunner Jac Scheaffer delivered on fantastic character arcs for every character in the show. The finale shows us the final showdown between Agnes and Wanda and an intense Vision vs. Vision beatdown, which is everything that audiences wanted.

Episode 9, “The Series Finale,” wrapped up the series with Wanda fully becoming The Scarlet Witch to take down Agnes in a witch v. witch magic battle. We learned how The Scarlet Witch is supposed to be one of the most powerful sorcerers in the universe, even more powerful than the Sorcerer Supreme, who we know as Dr. Steven Strange.

Monica’s character also got a proper ending, where we see her use her powers in a standoff between Billy, Tommy, and S.W.O.R.D. director Taylor Hayward. She also got told that Fury wants her on his S.W.O.R.D. spacecraft in a post credits scene where it was revealed that one of the FBI agents was in fact a Skrull.

For Agnes, Wanda learned her lesson about runes and how “In a given space, only the witch that cast them can use her magic,” to defeat Agnes. After defeating her, she decided to trap her in Westview as the “Nosey Neighbor” so she can visit Agnes whenever Wanda needs her help.

And as for Vision, Billy, and Tommy, Wanda had to stop the hex and in turn erase them from existence. Wanda learns that grief is just a part of life and also that “family is forever,” and she moves into the acceptance stage of grief.

The White Vision just disappeared, so we will definitely get more of him in a future Marvel Studios property and Wanda heard the screams of Billy and Tommy through the multiverse as she studied the Darkhold in the second post-credits scene.

One disappointing thing in the finale, however, was the arc of Evan Peters character Quicksilver. Peters played a fake version of Wanda’s twin brother Pietro, who Agnes called “Fietro,” and when he first came into the show, he had this sinister personality attached to him.

In the finale, Monica took him down by simply removing a necklace from him that took away his powers, and it was very anti-climactic for the end of “Fietro.”

As the series comes to an end, Wanda’s character arc comes in complete circle with the stages of grief. We see her become her most powerful form as the Scarlet Witch and the second post-credits scene shows us how she is learning about the Darkhold and how she may play a role in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.” The first MCU Disney+ series was a huge success and the team on Marvel Mania is so excited to see more.
