Clemson has firmly planted itself as the best team in the A.C.C after week number five in college football.

No. 5 Clemson 30, No.10 N.C State 20

The biggest game this weekend in the ACC was a revenge game for Clemson because they lost to N.C State last year.

Clemson was attempting to continue their dominance at home before the game started and had won 36 consecutive home games.

Clemson led 13-10 at halftime and never looked back, winning 30-20, improving its home win streak to 37 straight games. They are now 5-0 and ranked No. 5 in the AP poll. It looks like the most complete team in the conference.

No. 22 Wake Forest 31, No. 23 Florida State 21

The second-ranked matchup in the ACC this weekend consisted of Wake Forest trying to bounce back from a home loss to Clemson and Florida State attempting to stay undefeated.

The Demon Deacons went down early 7-0 but then tied the game and never looked back, winning 31-21.

Sam Hartman threw for 234 yards and two touchdowns, Wake Forest's offense is now averaging 40.4 points per game, ranking 17th in the nation.

Boston College 34, Louisville 33

Boston College was down 33-28 going into the fourth quarter but fell just short, losing 34-33, and only managed two field goals in the final quarter.

Boston Colleges’ next game is against Clemson at home, and Louisville is set to travel to Virginia.

North Carolina 41, Virginia Tech 10

North Carolinas’ offense continued to roll as Quarterback Drake Maye threw for 363 yards and three touchdowns, allowing his team to cruise to an easy win. Meanwhile, Virginia Tech continues to have offensive issues, and new coach Brent Pry is off to a difficult start now, sitting at 2-3. North Carolina is now 4-1 and set to play Miami in Florida on Saturday.

Syracuse 59, Wagner 0

Syracuse continued it's great season by shutting out Wagner 59-0. Star running back Sean Tucker rushed for 232 yards and scored three touchdowns, while quarterback Garrett Shrader went 17 for 17 passing for 238 yards and two touchdowns.

Syracuse is now 5-0 and is ranked 22 in the AP poll. Syracuse has a bye week and then hosts N.C State at home, which would be the biggest game of its season.

Georgia Tech 26, Pittsburgh 21

Pittsburgh hosted Georgia Tech on Saturday afternoon at Heinz Field.

This game was low scoring in the first half having 16 points through the first three quarters. Then both teams' offenses exploded in the 4th quarter scoring 31 combined points, and Georgia Tech was able to secure a victory 26-21.

Duke 38, Virginia 17

One of the most surprising teams in the ACC, Duke, hosted Virginia to attempt to improve to 4-1 on the season.

Duke had a 14-0 lead after the 1st quarter, and Virginia was never able to catch up, with Duke winning 38-17. Duke is now 4-1 on the season and is ranked 1st place in the ACC coastal division.

The biggest ACC game to watch in week six is No. 14 N.C State hosting Florida State at 8 p.m. N.C State is trying to bounce back after a loss at Clemson, and Florida State is trying to bounce back from a loss to Wake Forest.

Both teams are 4-1, and this is an important game for standings in the ACC.
