Mitch Broder, Jamal Ellerbe, and Nick Prince discuss some of the hot topics so far in this early NBA season in the first episode of The Crossover Podcast:

Some of the biggest news during the offseason was a trade between the Toronto Raptors and San Antonio Spurs which sent All-Star small forward Kawhi Leonard north of the border. The Raptors are off to a hot start this season and Leonard is a big reason why. He’s averaging 28 points per game and looks great with his new team. However, will he be able to get the Raptors the top seed in the East?

The All-Star Game is big deal for players to make and each year we see the usual players make an all-star team. However, every year we see some players the make it to the All-Star Game that no one saw coming. The Crossover crew discusses who they believe could find themselves on an all-star team roster than no one else does. Including players like Donavan Mitchell and Zach Levine.

Lastly, the crew talks about who is already looking like a potential MVP. Joel Embiid, Anthony Davis, and Giannis Antetokounmpo are all candidates that crew believes could bring home the most coveted individual player award in the NBA.
