Field hockey players get fired up for celebrity dodgeball tournament
Brittany Grzywacz is an All-Big Ten field hockey player, but on Saturday, she took her talents to the Multi-Sport Facility for a different game. Penn State Athletic Training held the first annual Celebrity Dodgeball Tournament to benefit Operation Homefront, a non-profit that helps military families. Grzywacz and her team competed against other Penn State sports teams, clubs, and fraternities.
Grzywacz and her teammates didn't take themselves too seriously but had fun participating in the tournament. Though they didn't come out on top as the champions of this inaugural event, Grzywacz and the field hockey team contributed to a worthy cause.
