Four-star offensive tackle Jaelyne Matthews commits to Penn State

Penn State’s future offensive line received a significant upgrade on Monday morning.

Four-star offensive tackle Jaelyne Matthews announced his commitment to the blue and white over Georgia, Ohio State, Miami and Rutgers.

Matthews marks the first commitment in the 2025 class for the Nittany Lions, and he was in Happy Valley this past Saturday for an unofficial visit.

The Toms River, New Jersey, native ranks as the No. 42 player in the nation and the third-best offensive tackle, according to the On3 rankings.

The newest Nittany Lion stands at 6-foot-6, 273 pounds and has excellent size and agility for the position.
