Dominic DeFalco starting playing rugby as a freshman at Xavier High school to stay in shape for football. Eventually, he loved the sport so much he chose it over football.

"I like playing rugby because it is a fast-paced, hard hitting game and it's a lot of fun to play," said DeFalco.

Now, the junior plays for Penn State club rugby.  The team is not a varsity sport, but they are ranked number seven nationally.

In the Summer 2016 Olympics, rugby will make its debut as an official sport.  In order to make the team, players must first be selected by recruiters and then play for developmental teams.  DeFalco has made a goal to make the U.S. team.

"It's every rugby player's dream to make the cut - I hope I am one of them," said DeFalco.
