The inevitable has been confirmed: Penn State will host Auburn for its White Out game.

The university’s athletic department announced the Nittany Lions’ Sept. 18 match-up against the SEC’s Tigers will be played in front of a White Out crowd, as well as details for the blue and white’s additional home games.

Penn State will welcome fans inside Beaver Stadium for the first time since Nov. 30, 2019, for its Sept. 11 home opener against Ball State. Following the Auburn matchup, the Nittany Lions and in-state foe Villanova will duke it out in the annual THON game on Sept. 25.

Fresh off a 6-2 finish in the 2020 campaign, Indiana will travel to Central Pennsylvania on Oct. 2 for the Stripe Out game. Illinois will come to town three weeks later for Homecoming weekend and the Nittany Lions will sport their “Generations of Greatness” uniforms in recognition of the program’s prior game day attires.

Penn State will then close out its home slate with matchups against Michigan and Rutgers. The Nov. 13 tussle with the Wolverines will feature a student section Whiteout while the Scarlet Knights will take on a Nittany Lion program honoring both its seniors and the military.

In addition to game themes, parking information and prices were released. General parking can be purchased in advance at $40 per car while day-of-game parking passes will cost $60.

However, the overnight RV lot is sold out for the season. Fans who lack an RV permit will be instructed to park at the Grange Fairgrounds in Centre Hall, where they can receive gameday shuttle services to and from Beaver Stadium.
