Not What You Expect
Don’t let Bruce Lombard’s intimidating appearance scare you away, because according to his kickboxing students he is one of the best people they know.
Lombard is from Wellsville, New York. He attended Penn State University and earned his undergraduate degree in rehabilitation counseling and education. After college he worked at State College Area High School for about four years.
After his time spent in the school district he was employed by Titan Fitness and Martial Arts and became the head instructor in 2001.
He is now the head mixed martial arts tie-boxing coach, oversees other classes and the instructors, and offers private and one on one training.
His passion for kickboxing and martial arts comes from his father who was a baseball coach and had a long history of participating in sports.
His commitment and passion for kickboxing has given him the opportunity to create his own brands called LOMBARD MMA, LOMBARD MMA FIT and MMAFX. He hopes that these workouts and guides will help people properly learn how to kick box while learning self defense as well.
He says he enjoys his profession because it’s a different competitive avenue for him. The social, emotional and physical benefits people get from kickboxing is what inspire him to do this everyday.
