Kelsey Rowley

Senior / Public Relations/Business minor

Kelsey Rowley is a Penn State undergraduate student who will be graduating in May 2014 with a major in public relations and minor in business.  During summer 2013, she was a human resources communications intern at Comcast Headquarters in Philadelphia.  During this internship, she assisted in the development of communication plans and change management strategies for major projects including the implementation of a new recruiting system and enhancements to the workforce analytics tool.  She also drafted targeted emails, executive summaries, job aids and training documentation, and internal social media content, which included several articles promoting and covering the Mini Comcast Cares Day for Interns and Co-ops. 

She has interned with the Penn State Athletics Kids Club, a local organization to get children interested and involved with various Penn State athletic events.  Aligned with her passion for sports and children, Kelsey coaches figure skating at the Penn State Figure Skating Club. 

Upon graduation Kelsey hopes to find a marketing position in music or sports entertainment.  Her ideal job would be a marketing manager position at a music and sports venue.
