UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State will have to wait a bit longer than expected to return to the ice.

The Nittany Lions series against Maine has been canceled due to positive COVID-19 results within the Black Bear program.

The non-conference series that was to be played on New Year’s Eve and Day will not be rescheduled.

The blue and white currently have an 11-8 record and are scheduled to take the ice next against Big Ten foe Notre Dame on Jan. 7.
