UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The HUB lawn was packed as students and alumni alike dressed in white, flooding around the set of ESPN’s College GameDay.

Some students camped out the night before to claim their spots. Teddy Frain, a freshman at Penn State, was there bright and early to capture the experience of GameDay.

“It felt like you were a part of something bigger than yourself,” Frain said.

This was the seventh time that College GameDay hosted its show at Penn State. The highlight of the morning came when co-host Lee Corso finished the show by putting on the Nittany Lion head, signifying his pick for who would win the game.

The GameDay cameras scanned the sea of white multiple times as “We Are” chants flooded the HUB lawn.

Penn State student Brennan Kelly was also in attendance for GameDay.

“We are known for having such a great student section,” Kelly said.  “Being able to show off our school pride in such a cool environment was very cool.”
