Just a few hours after entering the transfer portal, Penn State star junior forward transferred to Ohio State.

Zanon will join a Buckeye squad that went 33-6-2 and made it all the way to the national championship before losing 1-0 to Wisconsin. The scarlet and gray won the title two years ago thanks to key players like Sophie Jaques and Jennifer Gardiner.

Zanon leaves Penn State as the program’s first-ever CHA Player of the Year winner and led the team with 26 goals and 49 points while leading the nation with five short-handed goals.

Zanon was named to the All-CHA First Team every campaign she was in Happy Valley.

In her three seasons donning the blue and white, she posted 118 points in 92 games, helping lead the Nittany Lions to their first-ever CHA title this past year and first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance.

The Fairpoint, N.Y., native was the fastest Nittany Lion in program history to record 100 points.
