That was that
David Willette is a senior at Penn State University studying accounting. Since the age of 6, Willette has been an avid fencer. After hearing his sister speak highly of the Penn State fencing team, he decided to join the school’s team as well.
At the completion of his second semester as a sophomore, he decided to take a year off to try and qualify for the 2012 Olympic team. David and four of his close friends were all fighting for the top four spots that secured a trip to London. Willette continues to fence for Penn State and still considers training for the 2016 Olympic team.
