There’s far more to Penn State junior Alex Cassidy than meets the eye. A labor employment relations major who also has an innate ability to spin a basketball on his finger. “I was just spinning it up in the air and one day I caught it on my finger,” Cassidy said “and I just kind of never let it die.”

Alex uses his incredible hand-eye coordination to help both on the field and the ice, as he is an IM football and hockey player at here at Penn State. But this isn’t the reason he is so proud of his ability.

“It was kind of cool,” Cassidy said “people thinking you’re the only white Globetrotter in your entire elementary school.”
