Nick Formica
Senior / Broadcast/Journalism
I am a Broadcast/Journalism major graduating in June of 2013 with a History minor. My ultimate goal is to pursue a career in sports broadcasting/reporting, but I am also interested in pursuing a career in local/network television. I am currently a news anchor and reporter for Centre County Report. Along with anchoring and reporting I also write my own scripts, film and edit my own footage, and occasionally work on packages as a team effort with my co-workers. In the summer of 2012 I interned with Center City Film and Video in Philadelphia doing grip work, transcribing videos, and helping set up shots for interviews. Broadcast/Journalism is my passion and I could see myself being a part of creating a newsworthy story daily for the rest of my life.
