Gabriella Hornack is a senior at Penn State studying Broadcast Journalism with a double minor in Digital Media Trends & Analytics and Sports Studies from Pittsburgh, PA. She’s also working towards a certificate in Sports Journalism from the John Curley Center, and received the Press Club of Western Pennsylvania’s Outstanding Young Journalist Scholarship. She is a fourth-year intern at GoPSUSports.com, a Sports Anchor for the Centre County Report, and the Vice President of the Society of Professional Journalists. Gabriella was an On-Air Reporter for the Penn State Football: Unrivaled Pregame Show – reaching nearly 24k viewers per weekly show, with 2 million total viewers during the 2020 COVID season. Covering the Penn State Wrestling team for 3+ years, Gabriella was recently promoted to the team’s Social Media Coordinator for the 2021-22 season.
