Pasquale Tartaro

Junior / Broadcast Journalism

Pasquale Tartaro is a junior from Long Island, New York, pursuing a major in broadcast journalism with a minor in sociology. Upon graduation, he plans on attending law school. Pasquale currently serves as a digital content intern for Penn State Athletics. He also works as a contributor for Fansided’s GMEN HQ. For CommRadio, Pasquale works as an editor and on-air personality. He previously held the role as the station’s social media director during his sophomore year as well. Pasquale appears as a co-host on New York State of Mind, CommRadio’s unique, east-coast listening experience that airs Mondays from 6:15-7:15 pm.

Mitchell Broder

Senior / Digital/Print Journalism

I am currently a Senior at Penn State University in the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications majoring in Digital/Print Journalism. I am a member of CommRadio, Penn State’s student-run radio station. My responsibilities include writing articles, hosting a radio talk show, beat writing/broadcasting live sports events and participating in podcasts about various sports.

I have also interned in marketing content roles, as I have interned for WSC Sports, the leader is AI Automation for sports highlights, and The Verdi Group.

I hope to one day have the opportunity to work in media/journalism. This is a passion of mine, and a goal I’d like to work towards.
