Connor MacEachern Inks New Deal with San Jose Barracuda

Former Penn State forward Connor MacEachern signed a new contract with the San Jose Barracuda on Wednesday afternoon, the AHL affiliate of the San Jose Sharks.

The deal runs through the 2023-2024 AHL season and per club rules, the details of the contract were not announced.

During his time with the Nittany Lions, MacEachern collected 31 goals and 77 points in 130 games and served as an alternate captain in his senior campaign.

The Ontario native played in four games for the Barracuda last season, amassing seven shots and a +/- of 1.

MacEachern was one of three Penn State players this past season to play for an AHL team, joining Ben Copeland of the Cleveland Monsters and Ture Linden from the Ontario Reign.
