She-Hulk Season Finale Review

Honestly, I’m not quite sure where to begin with this finale episode of the Disney Plus series.

The episode starts off right where the previous one left off as She-Hulk’s rage caused by the video at the gala causes her to wind up in a similar prison cell to Emil Blonsky from earlier in the series.

Jennifer Walters agrees to a plea deal which forces her to never turn into She-Hulk again which forces her to leave her job and move in with her parents just trying to avoid any questions that the media may ask in the process.

Walters and her team try to find out who made the video to make sure they get legal justice.

After a couple scenes of the same cycle, Walters decides she needs a break for a few days and goes back to Blonsky’s retreat after trying to text both him and her cousin Bruce Banner to which both texts were not delivered.

Upon arrival at the retreat she doesn’t first initially meet with Blonsky and we find out why later on.

During this time both Nikki and Pug work to try and get an invite to an Intelligencia meeting which actually goes easier as expected.

Nikki forces Pug to go in since it is an all-guys group and Pug is able to quickly get in close with the group, mostly due to Nikki giving him directions on his earpiece, and it is revealed to us that the leader of the group was Todd who went out on a bad date with Walters a few episodes prior.

We find out that the meeting is also on the retreat with their guest speaker being Blonsky who had turned into Abomination much to the surprise of Walters who walks in the meeting while looking for Blonsky.

The scene quickly turns into a free-for-all with Todd using Walters’ blood to turn into his own version of the Hulk.

Todd tries to attack Walters who is being protected by the Abomination but then Hulk drops down and starts attacking the Abomination after reading the situation wrong.

While that is going on, Titania joins the mad dash after breaking through a wall and now talking to the audience, it seems that Walters has had enough.

Yes, I mean enough of the plot.

Walters literally breaks through Disney Plus in an attempt to change this random bunch of plot points also known as a finale.

After finding a room of She-Hulk writers she attempts to find Kevin, who apparently is the one who decides how all Marvel products play out.

I’m sure I wasn’t the only one who thought they were referring to Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel studios, but they were actually talking about a robot.

Walters’ is able to get her own show changed up rather easily by removing the fact that Todd has her blood, getting Bruce Banner out of the show at least for now and by making sure Blonsky doesn’t turn into the Abomination and keeps his word.

She also throws Daredevil back into the mix but that’s more for her own personal pleasure.

After that, all is seemingly resolved.

Todd is arrested and Blonsky signs a contract to not turn into the Abomination again but probably most important to her, Daredevil arrives for the week.

The season ends with Walters and her family all enjoying a barbeque as Bruce Banner returns from Sakaar with his son which will be fun to hear about in an upcoming movie and Walters learns to accept that she is now a superhero to go along with being a lawyer.

This finale was definitely unique to say the least.

Don’t think we’ll ever see a wall break quite like the one that was shown in this finale but it’s hard to say if all the plots ended up making sense.

There was a lot thrown at the viewers in this series.

Was it random, yes it was.

But was it also enjoyable, yes it was.
