Penn State lands 4-star linebacker Anthony Speca

Penn State’s “LBU” became one player deep, gaining a commitment from an elite player out of the 2024 class.

Four-star linebacker Anthony Speca announced Tuesday he committed to the blue and white over Notre Dame and Michigan. 

Speca marks the second commitment in the Nittany Lions 2024 class, joining fellow in-state product Cooper Cousins.

The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, native ranks the No. 328 player in the nation and the 26th best linebacker, according to the 247 Sports rankings.

Penn State brought in three linebackers in its 2023 class, but it continues to add elite playmakers to its core.
