Penn State’s single and double-play conference opponents have been announced for the 2023-24 campaign.

The blue and white will welcome Illinois, Michigan, Michigan State and Nebraska to the Bryce Jordan Center.

Wisconsin, Rutgers, Iowa and Indiana will be road trips for the squad.

As for Purdue, Maryland, Minnesota, Northwestern and Ohio State are the double-play opponents given to the blue and white.

In the team’s 2022-23 campaign, the Lady Lions finished below .500 with a 4-14 Big Ten conference record.

Considering Penn State failed to win in its opponents’ territories, those single-play away opponents will be tough tests. Its BJC dominance showcased the team’s defensive strategy promoted by head coach Carolyn Kieger who enters her fifth season with the Lady Lions.

Makenna Marisa, Leilani Kapinus and Shay Ciezki frontline the list of returners; additionally, Penn State has acquired several players through the transfer portal that have yet to make their marks while wearing the blue and white.
