HUB-Robeson Center Hosts Pride Takeover 2023
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity is celebrating Campus Pride Month throughout April.
The HUB-Robeson Center at University Park hosted “Pride Takeover” on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. They had several tables with university organizations for students to see what services they offer. Ranging from therapy to safe sex resources, students had the opportunity to get advice from professionals or pick up some free merchandise.
Student worker at the Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity, Haleigh Hainsey says the pride events are for all students regardless of if you are in the LGBTQ+ community or not.
“Penn State is an inclusive and diverse university as well as there are resources for any and all students who may not realize that there are resources for them here,” Hainsey said.
The event also included activities such as a Drag Show on the HUB staircase as well as DJ students could dance to.
