Penn State commit Aiden Fink was officially drafted 218th overall in the seventh round by the Nashville Predators in the 2023 NHL Draft Thursday afternoon.

One of the best prospects to commit to Hockey Valley, Fink led the AJHL with 97 points in 54 games, earning him AJHL and CJHL League MVP honors.

The 5-foot-10 speedster added eight goals and 13 points in 15 playoff games for the Brooks Bandits, leading them to the 2023 AJHL Championship, and back-to-back Centennial Cups thanks to his 13 points in six games.

The Calgary, Alberta native was also invited to compete for Team Canada in the World Junior A challenge this past season, where he led the tournament in scoring with five goals and 12 points in six games.

Fink is the 15th Nittany Lion to be drafted in the NHL and the first to be drafted since Chase McLane in 2020, also drafted by the Nashville Predators.
