The victim of a Sunday night fire was identified as Kenneth Fitzgerald
The victim of a Sunday night fire in Benner Township was identified as 42-year-old Kenneth Fitzgerald by Coroner Scott Sayers. The death was caused by smoke inhalation and ruled as accidental. The cause of the fire is still unknown. Written by WJAC.
The Centre County Government will gradually welcome back their employees
The Centre County Government announced Tuesday that they will gradually welcome back their employees to in-person work. An energy-efficient new public works building opens
An energy-efficient new public works building held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to signify its opening on April 27. The building is 14,500 square feet and cost $7.8 million to build. The building took approximately four years to plan and one year to build. Story by Geoff Rushton for StateCollege.com.

Bellefonte Area School District mascot “The Red Raider”
Bellefonte Area School District is under conversation as to whether they will change their mascot, “The Red Raider,” or not. A special meeting was held Tuesday to discuss the matter and attracted over 100 residents involved with BASD to the meeting. The debate will resume Wednesday after failing to come to a decision.
